Tamiya at the Greatest Race
o   Tamiya branding makes a prominent appearance at the 89th 24-Hours of Le Mans

o   Risi Competizione LMP2 entry of Cullen, Nasr and Jarvis race with Tamiya logo at the world’s biggest race.

o   The number 82 Oreca raced in the most competitive Le Mans field in years

Tamiya branding appeared once again at the world’s most demanding race; the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021.

The number 82 Risi Competizione car of Ryan Cullen, Filipe Nasr and Oliver Jarvis took on the gruelling 24-hour race in the LMP2 hoping for success at the famous race which started on Saturday 21/8/21 at 4:30pm (3:30 GMT) and went through the night until the Sunday after.
All three drivers are no strangers to success.  Jarvis won the LMP2 class at Le Mans in 2017 and Cullen secured victory in the same class at the Rolex Daytona 24 in 2019.   Ex Sauber and Williams F1 driver Nasr is no stranger to sports car racing and is a leading force in the IMSA Sportscar series in the US having won it in 2016.
The 89th running of Le Mans at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France was featured across international Media.
Le Mans 2021 featured sixty-two entries split in to four categories: Hypercar, LMP2, LMGTE Pro and

LMGTE ProAm.

Le Mans represents the best drivers in the world as well as leading manufacturers such as Toyota, Porsche, Ferrari, Audi and Aston Martin.   Each driver will do the equivalent of around four F1 Grand Prix in one day against each other and against the elements day and night at over 200 MPH!

This relentless challenge puts the ultimate test and strain on man and machine.
