Tamiya welcomes an updated re-issue of Item 24188 1/24 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA (originally sold in 1997) with updated decals, instruction manual and packaging, plus newly-included masking stickers for front and rear window mouldings.

In addition to the standard version, the street-customized version - in which front and rear bumpers are removed - can also be recreated by this kit. The sportiest of the 1,600cc cars in the Giulia series was the Giulia Sprint GT, which was launched in 1963. It had a unique stepped front visage, with the traditional Alfa Romeo shield and emblem prominently adorning the grille.

1965 saw the release of the Giulia Sprint GTA, a seriously lightened race model with aluminium body and a twin-spark engine. This kit will be a great way to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the actual car, which is coming in 2025.
