The man behind the driving skills of The Stig, James Bond and Batman pays a high-speed visit to Milton Keynes.

The Hobby Company recently welcomed a number of high profile movie and TV stars in the form of one man; Ben Collins.

Best known as The Stig on Top Gear, Ben has been the driving double for some of the biggest movie franchises including, James Bond, Batman, Han Solo and recently played racing driver Denny Hulme in the hit movie Ford v Ferrari – Le Mans ’66.


A self-confessed Tamiya fan, he started with a Grasshopper which he still remembers building. Ben enjoyed a guided tour of trade show rooms at the Hobby Company with Managing Director Pete Binger, who walked him through the current RC range on display. 

Ben shared some fascinating stories of his work on various movies and of course his role as the famous driver in the white race suit and helmet on BBC’s Top Gear Show.
