For this purpose, the design was strengthened, and several versions of the sidecar were created. The Zündapp K800 was the only German army four-cylinder motorcycle. The boxer engine developed 20 hp at 4000 rpm. K800 could reach speeds of up to 100km/h. The drive to the rear wheel was carried out by means of a cardan transmission.
