Description

The T-26 tank is the first Soviet mass-produced infantry support tank. It was armed with DT machine guns mounted in two rotating turrets. Some of the tanks had a 37 mm Gochkis gun in the right turret. A total of 11,000 T-26 tanks were produced. Approximately 300 tanks were supplied to the Spanish Republic and used in the Spanish civil war. Captured T-26 were used in the Finnish, German, Romanian and Hungarian armies.
