Chris Harris joins Sir Chris Hoy and Alex Brundle at Silverstone BRDC Classic

Chris Harris teamed up with Brundle Motorsport to pilot a historic restored Lola T292 sports car, sharing driving duties and testing efforts with names like Sir Chris Hoy and Alex Brundle for the Motor Racing Legends appearance at the new BRDC Classic at Silverstone, 24th-26th July. Harris drove an ex-Ecurie Bonnier Lola T292 chassis restored by Pearsons Engineering featuring a high-revving Richardson Ford Cosworth BDG at Silverstone, wearing a Tamiya branded race suit complete with his Tamiya Arai race helmet.
The self-confessed Tamiya super-fan partnered Brundle to secure an impressive 2nd place finish in the Lola in race one, before handing of the keys to Sir Chris Hoy for race two. There was no mistaking when Chris was piloting the yellow Lola, as his helmet featuring the famous Tamiya logo on each side is pretty hard to miss. Look out for Chris’s future race exploits in the coming weeks on track with our favourite helmet design.
