Car Magazine has recently built the extra large Subaru Impreza WRC by IXO Collections. The review features lots of photos of the build process and finished model, as well as thoughts on the finished product and building experience. Some choice quotes are below:

"The level of detail in this build is absolutely wild. It looks absolutely sensational on my shelf.

And the anecdote from the final verdict:
"On completion and after installing the batteries, I was disappointed to find out the lights and sounds didn’t work. I must have trapped a wire or done something wrong in the build, I thought. Then I realised the interior light was on, so some power was getting through. The problem was, I hadn’t ‘started’ the car by hitting the ignition button. Once pressed, I got the full complement of noises and lights, including brake lights that illuminated at a press of the pedal."
