Chris Harris attended the Goodwood Members' Meeting 18-19 April using his brand-new race helmet: a Tamiya themed Arai GP7SRC carbon helmet featuring the famous two-star logo. It was wonderfully painted by Rich-Arts Concepts, a helmet painter and designer based in the United Kingdom.

The design features an oversized Tamiya logo each side of the helmet, with another on the lower front. On the back, the two logos are separated by a vertical band with “The best of Japan” written in Japanese script, signifying the combination of Tamiya branding with the helmet manufacturer Arai, both famous brands from Japan who have supported Chris' latest racing headwear.

Self-confessed Tamiya fan Chris will use the helmet at a number of races this year, keeping the Tamiya brand in clear focus. While at the Goodwood Members Meeting, he competed in the Gerry Marshall Trophy race at the 83rd running of the popular event in a 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfasud 1.3 Ti.
