Retro Cars Pay Homage to
Tamiya.
This
month’s Retro Cars magazine has paid a tribute to Tamiya which includes a
7-page feature and double page competition.
The
magazine which focuses on exciting cars from the past 30 years and fills the
gap between present day and traditional classic car magazines.

The
presence of Tamiya was deemed suitable as it has been such an influence on car
fans since the late 1970’s and holds such a special place in motoring history.
The
bulk of the feature focuses on the re-released Sand Scorcher in an article written
by TV presenter Jonny Smith. He tells
of how Tamiya thrilled him as a child and inspired him to take up motoring
journalism. The feature also goes on to
explain why Tamiya is as popular today as it ever has been.
Readers
are also given the chance to win one of two Tamiya Vanessa’s Lunch Box R/C kits;
Tamiya’s own retro favourite, in a double page competition.
Retro Cars is published
by Unity Media. The May issue is on sale now at leading news outlets.
