Leading Truck Titles Visit THC

Trucking and Truck Stop News Try Tamiya and Italeri for Size.

The Hobby Company were pleased to welcome Andy Stewart and Julian Dace from Future Publishing titles Trucking and Truck Stop News last week to Milton Keynes for a tour of the HQ and to find out more about the range of truck models from Tamiya and Italeri.

During their visit both Andy and Julian were shown the latest range of Tamiya 1/14 scale R/C trucks, trailers and accessories as well as Italeri’s range of 1/24 scale plastic trucks and trailers.

The visit was for a forthcoming feature due to appear in Trucking in September as well as discussing ideas for Truck Stop News.

Anthony Shaw of The Hobby Company commented “It was great to have a leading publication from the Truck media come to visit us. We have been talking with Julian and Andy for a while and it was great they found a gap in their schedule when they are not reviewing the latest full size trucks to come and test and find out more about our scale versions.”

As part of the feature Andy and Julian tested the Tamiya 1/14 MAN TGX and new 40ft Container trailer, as well as the Scania R470 High Liner and Knight Hauler. The trucks were also filmed for a video to go on the Trucking home page You Tube player.

This month’s issue of Trucking also features a product review on the Tamiya MAN TGX (56325) and is on sale at all leading news outlets.
