Tamiya's Tour de Force
Based on the latest research, Tamiya has recreated this famous Japanese
battleship down to the smallest detail for this 755mm long, 1/350 scale
model. Not only does the model offer a high level of accuracy, it also
includes features such as turret barbettes which have never been recreated in
previous models of this ship. This model depicts the Yamato as she appeared
on her final mission to Okinawa, and may be assembled as either a full-hull
or waterline model. The kit will also come with two sheets of photo-etched
parts to recreate various details such as ladders and cranes. With this level
of engineering, accuracy, and detail, this is literally Tamiya's new flagship
model.
