Tamiya Mini Racing at Maritime Carpet Wars !

Maritime Racing and Tamiya join forces to bring the ultimate Mini racing at competitive prices at Maritime Raceway.

With Tamiya’s involvement this fun and exciting category looks set to grow. Tamiya Mini meetings are a key category within Maritime’s legendary Carpet Wars series.

Maritime are throwing out the challenge to Tamiya Mini drivers across the country to pit their skills against each other in similar performing cars at this purpose built raceway in the Chatham Dockyard in Kent.

Fortnightly on a Tuesday evening from 6pm to 10.30, you can join 20+ Tamiya Mini drivers for a friendly, fun and competitive evening of racing on one of the biggest permanent carpet race tracks in the UK.

Maritime has ample pit space and hot food available – so an evenings racing can turn into a fun night out.

The Tamiya Mini’s utilise various chassis types but predominately M05’s which race to a simple set of rules that allow newcomers to easily and cost effectively participate with out of the box kits.

Using brushed motors of limited performance and li-pos or Ni-mhs any driver can hone their racing skills with cars that are similar in pace and gain advantage through driving technique and learning car setup skills.

The emphasis of Tamiya Mini Racing at Maritime is on having fun and enjoying the competition with cars that are representative of actual road going vehicles.

With friendly and knowledgeable people on hand to help out and an in house shop run by Colin Bliss Models stocking spares, tyres and even kits, Maritime Tamiya Mini Racing can offer something for everyone.
