New Tamiya Six-Wheel
Tyrell P34 named Product of the Month in this month’s Octane magazine
Octane magazine have named the new Tamiya
Six-Wheeler as its product of the month in the UK’s leading thoroughbred and
sports and classic car magazine.
The new Six wheel Tyrrell 1976 Japan GP from
Tamiya (84111) has been given the position on the Octane Products page, which
also includes the latest books watches and high quality prestige products aimed
at fans and owners of some of the greatest cars in the world.

This coverage comes at the same time as the
announcement from Tamiya that it is to release the R/C Wolf WR1, also from the
late 1970’s.
The WR1 was driven by Jody Scheckter to three
victories in 1977, which included Monaco and the teams home Grand Prix in
Canada. The car helped the South
African to finish on the podium no fewer than nine times during that season. The car also carried the Tamiya livery which
makes this a very special item for Tamiya.
The Tamiya Wolf WR1 (84124) is produced using the
F104 chassis and includes F103 front suspension components to replicate the
cars actual design and features a tough and highly detailed polycarbonate body.
