at London Toy Fair

Carrera chose the 58^th London Toy Fair at Olympia to launch an all new product line for the UK: Carrera R/C.

This new and exciting range of radio control will run alongside Carrera’s famous slot racing sets and cars for 2011. The Carrera R/C range attracted lots of interest thanks to its dynamic range of Buggies, trucks, boats and helicopters which are packed with interesting new features.

Carrera have designed their R/C range to address the two biggest issues connected to toy R/C vehicles: charging and running times. The R/C range is fitted with state of the art Lithium Ion batteries, which when fully charged can provide up to one hour of running time. Furthermore, Carrera has reduced charging times too, to under one hour.

Carrera R/C certainly impressed the show organisers who awarded the Carrera R/C Shuttle Galaxy with Best New Toy for the hobby category.

As well as R/C, Carrera also had its dual layout demo track featuring a huge Digital132 layout and a large Go!!! track set which allowed industry and media guests to try out leading licensed cars from Ferrari, Formula One and of course Super Mario.
